These terms govern your access to and use of Docvera.

Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing or using Docvera, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our other posted policies. You may only use the service if you have authority to do so for yourself or on behalf of the organization using the platform.

The service

Docvera provides software for case management, deadline tracking, document collection, client portal access, communication support, and related workflow functions for immigration practices. Features may change, evolve, or be discontinued over time.

Docvera is a software platform only. It does not provide legal advice, professional representation, or guaranteed outcomes.

Accounts, workspaces, and access

Workspace access is controlled through user accounts, invitations, access status, and plan limits. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and ensuring that only authorized users access your workspace.

Customer data

You retain responsibility for the data you or your organization submit to Docvera, including case records, notes, deadlines, documents, client contact details, and communications initiated through the platform.

Acceptable use

  • Use the service only for lawful and authorized purposes.
  • Do not attempt to bypass access controls or tenant isolation.
  • Do not upload malware, exploit code, or harmful content.
  • Do not use the service to send unauthorized, deceptive, or unlawful communications.
  • Do not interfere with platform operations, abuse rate limits, or attempt to reverse engineer the service except where expressly allowed by law.

Third-party services

Docvera relies on third-party providers such as Clerk, Amazon Web Services, Neon, Vercel, Resend, Twilio, WhatsApp, and Calendly. Use of Docvera may therefore depend on external services, networks, and provider policies outside our direct control.

Warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Docvera is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Docvera’s aggregate liability for claims arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amounts paid to Docvera for the relevant service during the twelve months preceding the claim, or CAD $100 if no such amount was paid.
